How Your Attitude Affects Your Life - Has anyone ever told you that you need to change your attitude? Change it to what? Where would I go to get a “new” attitude? I was even told when I was younger, that I had a “bad” attitude.

Bad compared to what? So here’s the story; your attitude can be different about many different things. What makes the difference is your attitude toward life; your life.

How often do we think that the person who is cutting us off in traffic is specifically doing it because they have something against us? Think about it; isn’t that how we usually act?

The truth is the person could have 400 things on their mind, didn’t see you, was brought up in a different part of the country (or world) where that type of driving is acceptable, or the person may just be mean.

Any way you look at it, it still doesn’t mean that this person had anything against you personally. Our programs and/or beliefs dictate how we perceive certain situations and how we ultimately act and/or react.

Our attitude can help to guide these programs and beliefs so that we can act or react in a way that is not directly from the unconscious.

Our attitude can determine whether the day is good or not-so good. It can be the catalyst for wealth and abundance beyond our dreams or if we just work to get by. It can determine whether friendships are close or just acquaintances.

It can even determine if our relationships are loving and full of trust or if they are just overrated cohabitation. The attitude we have toward daily life can truly help attract more of we want, hence, the Law of Attraction.

So how do we change our attitude? It is as easy as making a decision to do so. We have the power inside of us to decide anything and the ability to follow through with that decision.

Once we decide that we are going to have different attitude, we have to determine what the new attitude will encompass. Family? Relationships? Wealth? Career? It can be any or all of these and probably a whole lot more than I have listed.

Gratitude and belief will play an important part in this. When we are grateful for what we have, our belief starts to shift toward abundance of that certain thing that we are grateful for.

Once we move into the belief of abundance then our attitude starts to change for the better. (Be careful, this works in reverse also!) And, we then start to attract more of the same into our lives.

Think of one thing that you would like to have a better attitude about. Now make a list of things that you are grateful for surrounding that one thing. Make sure they are positive. Read that list every day, several times a day for a week.

By the end of the week you will notice that your view on that particular thing has improved. You will also notice many other things in your life that you are grateful for and many different things that you have a different (hopefully better) attitude about.

Let’s look at the person that cut you off. Gratitude: You have a car; you have someplace to go; you have eyes to see the other car; you have the ability to react to avoid an accident; and you have the ability to forgive and move on because this other person has no idea who you are as a person. The list could go on and on. I think you get my point.

I am not saying that you will not have certain times that things pop up that throw you into a spin. That’s just part of life. What I am saying, though, is that you have the ability to look at the situation differently and BE the person that you want to be.
