One day Zhou En Lai had dinner with noble disciples from Europe. Maybe because he drank too much alcohol, suddenly a student from Germany with the intention of insulting and harassing said, "You Chinese people have the zodiac of pigs, dogs, mice, etc. Not like us who have the zodiac Leo, Taurus, etc. We really don't understand how your ancestors thought?"

At that moment the noble disciples burst into laughter, high fives each other and the elegant atmosphere became frenzied.

If our ancestors were insulted and insulted, even though we have no reason to argue, of course we can react by turning the table.

But everyone from the Chinese side fell silent, probably still thinking about the answer.

That's when Zhou En Lai stood up in a very calm and patient voice he told all the foreign guests, "Our ancestors are very real, the 12 zodiacs are a couple which is a very real 6 path couple, in which there are hopes and requests of our ancestors for posterity of Chinese descent."

At that time the atmosphere began to be quieter but from the look on their faces, these foreign noble students still looked cynical and scornful.

Zhou En Lai said: The first group is the Rat and the Cow

Rat Symbolizes intelligence and wisdom. Cows symbolize crafts. Wisdom and diligence, this is a unity.

If you are only wise but don't do it diligently, you are only smart. But if you are only diligent but do not have wisdom, you will be said to be stupid.

These two are a unit in the first group that cannot be separated. Our ancestors actually expected and asked the Chinese descendants to always remember the meaning of this first group which is also the most important.

The second group is the Tiger and the Rabbit

The Tiger symbolizes courage and the Rabbit symbolizes prudence. These two symbols must become a single unit so that in carrying out a new action it can enter the criteria. Dare but use the count is not inconsequential.

If only brave but not careful it will be called reckless. But if you are only careful and don't dare to be said to be cunning.

Zhou En Lai looked at all the nobles saying again, "Then when we show our caution then don't think we don't have a brave side.

Actually our ancestors always wisely headed to a state of perfect peace and harmony, always never asking for one request with just one task but always in pairs.

Seeing that everyone was starting to ponder and think, Zhou En Lai continued:

The third group is Dragons and Snakes

Dragon Symbolizes hard. The snake symbolizes gentleness. Too hard will break easily, but if too weak will lose direction or have no principles.

So in the hard there must be surrender. This is a unity as well and this is the message of our ancestors.

Next is the Horse and the Goat

The Horse symbolizes moving forward and never backing down to achieve the goal. The goat symbolizes consideration.

If someone just keeps going, in order to achieve the target without caring about the surrounding environment, then on the way there must be a lot of crashing so that the goal is not necessarily achieved.

But if a person is too considerate and cares too much about his surroundings, eventually his aim is lost.

So the nature of going forward and never retreating must be close and united with the nature of consideration. This is the fourth hope of our ancestors.

Furthermore, the Monkey and the Chicken

Monkey Symbolize agility and cleverness. The chicken symbolizes stability or planning. In the past there were no clocks, people wake up early in the morning after hearing the sound of a rooster crowing and start planning their daily activities.

So ingenuity and planning also become one unit. If you only rely on ingenuity, unplanned and unsteady, any good idea will not work.

On the other hand, if you only rely on steadfastness and planning but are not smart so you don't have a good idea, then like a dead pool of water that doesn't move and an iron plank that is useless then of course we will not be able to progress like today.

So only with this one unit can only be perfect, on the one hand well planned so that everything runs steadily in a good and orderly manner, and on the other hand there are always ingenious and brilliant ideas, so that innovation can continue. This is an inseparable principle.

The last is the Dog and Pig

Dogs symbolize loyalty. The pig symbolizes being flexible with the flow. If someone is too loyal to be a fanatic, he doesn't want to see his real position, so he often clashes with other people.

But if someone is too flexible to go with the flow, has no loyalty then he has no principles.

So loyalty to the nation, state, group and loyalty to the ideals of our life must always be flexible and not rigid. So this loyalty is not blind.

And this is where we always carry out diplomatic relations with other countries, loyal to our country, but not rigid so that it can be accepted by other countries.

This is the difference between a gentleman who can remain loyal but not fanatical. Here, we Chinese people each have a zodiac sign, some are pigs, some are dogs.

Everything has meaning, our ancestors hoped that we could be perfect, each zodiac has its advantages but also has its drawbacks, so we are reminded that there are 6 paths that will cover each other's shortcomings.

Like people who are zodiac pigs like to go with the flow but don't forget to still have loyalty and those who are loyal to dogs, don't be fanatics, must be flexible.

After explaining the meaning of the 12 zodiac signs, Zhou En Lai asked, "If the zodiac is Taurus, Leo, etc., what are the wishes and hopes of your ancestors? Please don't be stingy, tell me".

It turned out that no one answered, the atmosphere was so quiet that even a single needle felt a sound could be heard.

Finally, all these foreign noble disciples from the bottom of their hearts saluted and praised, "We didn't expect that these 12 zodiacs had such a deep meaning."

This is the greatness of Chinese Premier Zhou En Lai who is greatly admired by the international community and the only prime minister in the world whose photo was displayed at the United Nations and respected by leaders from around the world when he died.

Prime minister Zhou En Lai besides being very, very clever and shrewd, he is the only Prime Minister in the world who has no children, does not have abundant wealth, does not have a luxurious house, not even a magnificent burial ground, he has devoted his entire life. to the people and country of China so that the whole world greatly salutes and respects his morals.

We are really proud to have a leader like Zhou En Lai in his journey of life, he has cleverly dismissed the insults and harassment of western people against Chinese culture and traditions, from insults to praise.
