Success Motivation- Is Anything Possible?

Is Anything Possible?

Is Anything Possible? One day I read a very interesting article about the shark attacks that occurred way back in 1916. It was played from along the coast of the US Northeast and the related great white shark, which has been terrorizing the coast of New Jersey.

Now everybody knows and accepts that sharks are sea creatures and require saltwater to survive. Therefore, no one thought that the sharks can attack them in freshwater, but that's what happened later that year.

This particular shark remained close to the beach and finally swim a river flows around Raritan Bay, attacking several bathers upstream.

Shortly before the attack occurred, a retired sea captain, by the name of Thomas Cottrell saw this shark swim upstream while crossing the bridge. He could not believe his eyes, but still got into the boat and raised the alarm. Not surprisingly, no one believed him. "A shark in the river? Come on, get real, it's not possible."

But you know what? As incredible as it seemed there was a shark in the river and all those who do not heed the warning in danger of being attacked.

Wise man said :
Anything is possible if you just believe in your self

Finally, this shark killed two people. The first victim is a teenager who may or may not hear the warning Cottrell. Shortly after this attack, another man jumped into the water to search for the victim, even though he was told there was a shark in the water. He also attacked and died from severe loss of blood.

When reading this I could not help thinking about September 11 and saw a parallel between these two stories.

When asked by the US Congress and the media, why "clues" that should have been picked up being ignored, the head of the CIA and the FBI and Bush administration members said, "We do not think they would use airplanes as missiles."

Had the FBI and the CIA believe that something like what happened on 9/11 it was possible they might have put measures into place that are likely to prevent this from happening. But they did not, although the hijackers left dozens of "clues."

Similarly, if the swimmer on the US East Coast had believed Captain Cottrell when he told them there was a shark in the river, chances are no one will be killed by a shark on the day.

But because they believe it is "impossible" for sharks can be found in freshwater they ignored the warning altogether, just as the US law enforcement agencies, resulting in many paid with their lives.

On the other hand, some people overcome incredible odds and great achievements. Every day we hear stories of people who were told by so-called "experts" they do not have what it takes, but make it regardless.

The lesson here is that everything is possible, both good and bad. By believing or not believing in something does not mean you will not be affected by anything that happens. But it means that, based on what you believe, you can take some measures that can save you from something horrible or may keep you out of a horrible situation.

Many of us are in a terrible situation, including poverty, unhappiness, debt, and others. Those who have changed their circumstances, do so because they believe they can make it.

Those who do not believe that they can change their situation if they do not have to do something about it, right?

How many opportunities you missed just because you think it will not work or is not possible. Just think what you could do if you believe you can do anything, even fulfill your dreams?

What great talent do you have that you should do anything about, since you may believe you can not do.

I hope to show you through this short article that anything is possible. And that the only true, "I Can" Your battle is already half-won.
